September is a month of transition. Days are getting shorter. The colors are changing. Temperatures are theoretically dropping (word on the street is that next week we're going to get a break from these unseasonably warm temps). With these shifts, comes blue-winged olives, streamers, and continued productive hopper-dropper fishing. For many of us around the shop, it's our favorite time of year.
