I went up to Deer Creek reservoir after receiving a tip from one of my viewers that the bite was on. I went up there twice and experienced faster action than I typically do at ice off. I was using two different setups. On one rod I had a floating line with an indicator and the other a sink tip. It was constant action on both rods and just flat out fun. Unfortunately, I broke yet another rod 😒. That makes five broken rods for me this year which is a record. Anyway, for any of you that are local I would highly suggest you go wet a line at Deer Creek before it freezes over cause the fish are in the mood to eat!
