The world of trout fishing is one that is quick to judge. Whether you chuck streamers, delicately present dry flies, or pick apart a run with a euro rod, there will always be someone that has something to say. But among the most talked about styles of fishing in recent years is tenkara. When I tried tenkara fly fishing for the first time last spring I found that it had it’s draw backs but I still managed to catch a lot of fish. So when Chris hit me up and wanted to fish I jumped at the opportunity to compare two very different styles of trout fishing.
Tenkara fly fishing was developed in Japan and has become increasingly popular over the last several years. I hope everyone enjoys the video!
