Our new on water tips and tactics video series Fly Fishing Untangled begins with Brian Trow showing us how to approach and fish nymphs up in the mountains when water temps are cold. Take your time, methodically dissecting a pool or run side to side and being mindful of how deep your fly is getting and adjust your strike indicator accordingly. A bit more patience in cold weather will increase your catch rate. In this video we take a small run and pick it apart and hook a few fish along the way. Stay tuned for more!
