Hot summer weather typically forces insect hatches to low light periods or early mornings or late evenings unless there's a weather change. Dark, cool, rainy summer afternoons may be rare in dry, hot regions such as southern Alberta. We circled this day on our calendar as soon as we saw the forecast suggesting a mid-summer weather change. As soon as the rain came in, we hit the river and enjoyed an EPIC mayfly hatch! Join us as we fly fish southern Alberta during an incredible mayfly hatch!
