I'm fly fishing for bream and blue gill from my new Jackson Kayak Bite FD with Mark IV Flex Drive. The new mark IV pedal drive from Jackson Kayak is definitely improved and I've been really impressed with the JK Bite. I had the original JK Coosa FD but it was just a little too big and didn't really fit my style of fishing. I wanted something faster, lighter and easier to push pole around in while sight fishing carp and redfish. So, after a year, I went back to the JK Cuda HD but still wanted a pedal drive to cover more water locally and in southeast Louisiana. I super excited b/c the Jackson Kayak Bite FD seems to fit my style...it's fast, easy to move, super stable and has just enough fishing features to be a great platform! This is gonna be a fun kayak to fish from.
