It's spring and I'm fishing for salmon on the middle part of the River Tweed, on a beat called Tweedswood. The River Tweed is a beautiful world renowned fishing destination. A worthy contributor to the reputation of fly fishing in Scotland.
In this salmon fishing vlog I share insights into the techniques I use, fly choice, and strategies. While very early in the 2024 spring season, there is still a chance for the odd salmon or sea trout. After years of trout fishing, I turned my hand to salmon fishing last year. I'm based in the Scottish Borders with the River Tweed on my doorstep.
