The Davy Knot is the only knot I use for my fly fishing. Sure, you might need a different knot for multiple fly rigs or making tapered lines are whatever. But especially if you're starting out with tenkara and only fishing a single fly, this knot will do it all!
p.s. I have only needed to use the Double Davy one single time. The regular Davy is exceptional and is what I rely on.

Virtual what now? I learned of this trend through the independent filmmaking community, and I love the idea of supporting small artists directly--no big corporation holding purse stings.
Videos like this one require expensive camera equipment and hours upon hours of time spent shooting and editing. Ad revenue for a tiny channel like this one is equally tiny--insignificant actually. Crafting niche fly fishing videos is a money-losing equation any way you slice it. So why do it??
I've been a filmmaker since I was 16 and I love it. I love the puzzle of putting the videos together. I love sharing knowledge and experience with people I've never met, who might be tuning in from the other side of the world. I love seeing my creations appreciated by others. It is a labor of love.
