This video shows the full process of making a handmade fishing lure from a wine cork and then testing it on the water. After shaping, carving and finishing the lure, I took it out fishing and managed to catch some brown trout with it.
Turning a simple wine cork into a functional crankbait was a fun challenge. The natural cork texture and lightweight body give the lure a great action, and it ended up performing surprisingly well in real fishing conditions.
