Today we are showing you how to make a silicone Swim Bait mold for open pouring soft plastics! This is our first attempt at creating a mold, but was definitely easier than expected. We hope to expand into other styles of lure making, but this was easy enough to do at home!
UPDATE: **Make sure you superglue the baits to the box you use, and some silicones dont fully cure against soft plastics. Spray with some sort of clear coat so they cure. Otherwise, the time to fully cure is triple, and you have to wipe spare residue off the mold after with nail polish remover.**
