Hey everyone welcome back to another video! This trip we started the morning catching some dorado then ventured further offshore to the bluefin tuna grounds. The trip before I went to this zone and was humbled by the giant bluefin tuna we found out there. We lost all five of the fish we hooked so I was definitely looking for some redemption.
Jimmy also had never caught a bluefin before so that was another one of our goals. The grade of fish was anywhere from 50-200lbs so you really never knew what you would hook. This time around we chose to use the 80lb flouro leader to make sure we had the best chance at landing these mean fish.
