Big Bluegill and Shellcracker {Catch Cook} River Fishing Using a Cane Pole!!
In this video I took my friend Jerry back out to the river a few weeks after our last fishing adventure on the river where we were catching bluegill bream and some big size panfish on 5/0 hooks. The goal on this trip was to target some big bluegill bream and shellcracker using a cane pole and some redworms for bait. The river water was a little high this time from a lot of rain we had been getting here in Central Florida and the full moon was also upon us, so I knew it was going to be a tough morning of fishing. Jerry put the first fish in the boat, and it was a big shellcracker so my hopes of catching some big fish all morning was very high at this point. We were catching a lot of fish but unfortunately, they just were not the keeper size we were looking for, but we did manage throughout the fishing trip to catch several big fish that was hiding amongst the little ones. I took the fish that we kept home and cleaned them up and cooked them up with a new recipe I had never tried before overall it was a great morning of fishing.
