Striper and Catfish guide Scott Manning took me fishing on the Tennessee river for catfish, white bass and stripped bass. So we caught ourselves one keeper rockfish so i could show you a fun striped bass recipe. IS THIS A HYBRID STRIPED BASS? There are not any great tests for whether a fish is a stripped bass vs a hybrid (Aka Whiper) Both can have broken lines on its body, not just hybrids. The depth of the body is the usual indicator (thick bodied = hybrid, slender = striper)
