In this episode I'm joining Christian Shuck on Cheney Reservoir to go after the strongest fish in Kansas waters: the wiper. This hybrid species is known for its brutal fight, but it also happens to be delicious table fare. We also learn all about the invasive white perch that was introduced into these waters 20 years ago, and then cook up white perch, wiper filets and a questionable side dish: wiper egg sacks.
COMMENT BELOW and let me know what you thought about this episode! Would you eat those egg sacks? Who wants to fish for wipers?
