Fishing below this dam at first light lead to one of the best days of fishing we have had on this lake! We fished a morning bite (left at about 10:30 a.m.), and then returned in the evening around 5:00 pm to fish the evening bite. We had a blast both times, then brought our catch home where I cooked it all up in the backyard. It was one of the best fried fish platters I have ever made (that walleye platter might be impossible to beat), and I got to use a bunch of new cooking items.
