This was a monster queen snapper I caught While slow pitch jigging on a long range sport boat known as the American Patriot out of Marco Island, FL. We were fishing an area known as pulley ridge which is famous for deep drop species such as queen snapper, yellowedge grouper, snowy grouper and others! the all tackle world record for queen snapper is 28lbs and this fish was 24lbs which was super close!!!
