My buddy Johnny Stabile invited Brook and I to go fishing on lake Ida. Johnny is a charter captain who specializes in peacock bass, largemouth bass, and clown knife fish in the Lake Ida area. I had never caught a clown knife fish before this day aka the clown featherback fish, and my first one ended up being a giant fish! We were fishing with thread-fin shad as live bait and and spent most of the day looking for clown knife fish after catching a bunch of peacock bass. The clown's are highly invasive fish and were introduced into South Florida's canal system through the aquarium trade.
