In this video I head down to a local mark to do some mackerel fishing using a light spinning set up and some metal jigs. This session was a lot of fun, with settled weather and calm seas, it was a pleasure to be out on the rocks, catching these powerful little fish!
The next day, I decided to cook some of this freshly caught mackerel and make some simple fishcakes that are packed for of flavour.
