My buddies Scott, @Ryan Morie and I took a trip to the Panafishing Lodge in Pedasi, Panama. This is a lodge that specializes in popping and slow pitch jigging. Panama's inshore fishery presents incredible opportunity to catch giant fish on artificial lures, such as Cubera snapper, Broomtail grouper, tuna and roosterfish. We spent 4 days popping and jigging the coastline, in search of trophy fish and species many anglers would consider dream or bucket list fish. This video follows our first 2 days of fishing, there will be a second video for the 2nd half of the trip. A rooster fish on artificial is one of the hardest fish to fool, and one over 50 pounds is a once in a lifetime catch!
