ANDREW GOES FLY FISHING IN A CREEK LOADED WITH BIG TROUT!
In this video Andrew goes fishing at a new creek and has his best day of fishing this year. He not only ties his personal best rainbow trout, but catches several good brown trout and cleans up a full pod of 30+ rainbow trout while nymhing. Andrew's 24 inch rainbow trout is his second in the last 4 months and his 3rd trout over 2 feet long that he's caught, including a 26 inch brown trout which didn't make the video.
Andrew starts out streamer fly fishing and catches a bunch of rainbow trout and 2 good brown trout, both hovering in the 20 inch range. While streamer fishing he found a pod of 30 or more rainbow trout and decided to go back and nymph for them. There was one larger fish in the run, and after breaking off in a tree a few times he finally caught the fish. He then proceeded to catch almost every fish out of the honey hole before leaving and trying a new section of the creek. In the last spot he tried he ended up catching a gigantic rainbow trout, which took him by surprise!
