I have fished in the AMFC (Affiliation of Major Fly Fishing Clubs) for over 30 years. If you want to get into competition fly fishing then this is a great way to start. Join one of the major clubs and I am sure they would be more than happy to get you started in competition fishing with matches in the AMFC. Although there is an edge of competition it is generally fished in a freindly and relaxed manner.
