In this video, we explored a couple new-to-us streams in NC in search for some wild trout. This was our first time fishing the Western NC after Hurricane Helene devastated much of the region, and wanted to see how the hurricane affected some of that water. Luckily, we were able to get on some fish and found a particular stretch that we're very excited to explore more of.
Needless to say, fly fishing in NC is NOT DEAD! In fact, in addition to wild trout, the state has since announced it is stocking some of the delayed harvest rivers. Check out our previous video for details on this: https://youtu.be/NI3nGfEePPE
