Fly fishing Rutland Water doesn’t get any better than when it is full on buzzer season. I decided to try and avoid the shoals of stocked fish in Hideaway Bay, to try and catch an overwintered fish. It didn’t quite work out how I wanted but I had a full on buzzerfest while constantly drifting to cover new water.
