I have made hours and hours of hucho fishing videos this season. As there were no fish involved, there wasn't much sense to publish the majority of these videos. Finally, all the effort, time and energy invested finally paid itself off and I was lucky enough to have this beautiful hucho on the other side of the line. The feeling was just amazing, and I hope you will be able to feel at least a fraction of my excitement while watching this video :).
Leo did a great job when landing the fish (almost ended up swimming :)). The fish was treated with care and has never left the water practically. The rest of the day we spent in a local taverna :).
Unlike many other times, this time I will not share the river and location details. There are, unfortunately, many of us anglers, who treat fish just as meat. And by sharing the location I would just make it easier for one of these to come tomorrow with his dead bait fish equipped with a couple of drillings and end the life of such a magnificent creature, just for meat :( . I hope you understand.
