You’ve got to figure out what gear to buy, fly casting, knots, picking the right flies, reading water, finding fish in a river, fighting fish, and more! Needless to say, beginners have a hard time starting and catching their first fish. Today, we took a complete beginner out on the river. She has never fly fished in her entire life! We will walk her through the VFC Crash Course, then put her to the test as she tries to catch her very first fish on a fly rod.
