Joseph (@Idaaflyy), Bradley (@Funky_Fly_Guy), and Sean (@driftlinemedia) continued their spring road trip out West with one goal: figure out what trout are REALLY eating.
The day after meeting up with the @FLYHIGH_Eli crew for our Friendly Fun Streamer Competition (watch it here: https://youtu.be/ZFvbFZRd5vA?si=fD3RatdIatEyCmcY), we decided to slow things down and get a whole lot nerdier.
Armed with a seine net, we kicked through the river bottom, identified the bugs living beneath the surface, and matched our flies to what the trout were actually feeding on. From sow bugs and midges to dry flies and nymphs, this is the beginning of another fun series: "Feed Fish Bugs." We hope you enjoy Episode 1!
