The 2022/23 winter was a historic one throughout the western United States. Frigid temps and heavy snowfall came early freezing up many lakes far earlier than usual. Additionally, spring came late. As a result many lakes winterkilled. In this video I talk about why this happens and what are some attributes of lakes that likely to winterkill.
