A tennis match broke out in the final minutes of the day as the No. 1 position on SCORETRACKER® changed names in rapid succession between Justin Cooper and Colby Miller. Unaware that Miller had taken the lead again, Cooper caught a 1, pound 10-ounce largemouth with less than a minute to spare to win Stage 1 with 78-5 on 34 scorable bass to Miller’s 77-4 on 35 scoreable bass.
Bass Pro Tour action will resume Feb. 13-16 with Stage 2 at the Harris Chain of Lakes in Leesburg, Florida.
