Lure fishing a stunning hillside lake for some of the rarest trout varieties in the UK. This place is unique in that it contains a huge amount of fish species, when you have a fish on, it could be anything! We managed to find some fish on a challenging day, including my biggest ever... I won't spoil the surprise! Lure fishing for trout has to be my favourite way of trout fishing, and luckily this venue allows it.
