A bit about Birch Lake: it’s around 7 acres, holding about 1,500 fish. It’s a stunning location, and I’m lucky enough to have this entire side to myself today. My friend Chris, across the way, has had a great start, already landing a few beauties this morning.
Birch Lake has some helpful features, like the little yellow poles that set casting boundaries for each peg. It’s a great touch to keep things clear and avoid any mix-ups or disputes. Right now, I’ve got flexibility since the lake’s still technically closed, so I’m taking full advantage of the space I’ve got.
