One of the first things to know, is when a rain front is coming, bass are going to be very active. So you can take advantage of them when the rain is headed your way.
Once the rain gets here, topwater baits can still be great lures to catch bass on, but sometimes if they rain is really hard, I will switch over to LOUD lures to catch them.
Once the rain leaves you are typically dealing with a post frontal condition. Many times you can still catch bass on moving lures, but often times it is best to slow down with soft plastics near thick cover and deep water.
