The Northern Cariboo region near the city of Quesnel has some of the best stillwater fisheries in British Columbia. Many have heard of Dragon Lake which is a large lake that produces trophy rainbow trout but in this film we explore one of the countless small lake fisheries in the area.
As the water temperatures decrease in the Fall, trout are triggered to feed heavily before winter kicks in. The Fall lake fishing season is often when the biggest fish of the year are caught.
