Bobby Lane and Chris Lane of Team Star brite held the No. 1 position on SCORETRACKER® for most of the day, but a two-horse race developed in Period 3 that saw Team REDCON1 (Skeet Reese and John Murray) push them for the top spot. Ultimately, the Lanes prevailed to the tune of 17 bass weighing 34 pounds, 2 ounces – less than a pound ahead of Reese and Murray, who finished with 16 bass for 33-3.
Meanwhile, Adrian Avena and Josh Bertrand of Team Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff & Pouches and Zack Birge and Mark Rose of Team 7 Brew Coffee put up a good fight but fell short of the cut line with nine bass for 21-7 and eight bass for 15-15, respectively.
