It was a cold first trip of 2025 to Cumberland! The bitter cold and ice freezing in the rod guides all day long made for a grind but it was a pretty good day all in all. As you will see, the icy rod guides costed me one RK Crawler and caused me to have to climb up on the bank to retrieve another one. We ended the day with a couple pretty nice smallmouth on a custom RK Crawler 55 by Laurel River Pro Lures, and then I lost it and it was the only one of that color I had but Shane at Laurel River will fix me up with some more.
