Lake St Clair Smallmouth Bass Fishing On Anchor Bay | Where to find GIANT smallies in late summer

Missing that smallie bite on Lake St Clair during the late summer months? Where have the smallmouth bass moved to now that the post spawn is over and fall is approaching?

Rich from Owl’s Nest Outdoors and I went searching in deeper waters to find some absolute GIANT smallmouth bass. We found them in water ranging from 10-15 feet of water, near perch schools and cruising ledges looking for food. At the north end of Anchor Bay, to the east end near the channel, and at the south close to SANG.

They ARE there - and we show you what worked for us in getting those elusive late summer smallies landed in the boat!

We caught a LOT of different species on our journey. Perch, walleye and a new PB freshwater drum sheepshead!
