In this episode of In Depth Angling we fish for crappie by bass boat on Lake of the Ozarks , located in Missouri. Fishing the spring crappie patterns on the lake as fish suspend near cover and open water areas near deep water channel breaks as they stage up in the prespawn phase. We break down the pattern and techniques used in this video to help you pattern and catch more and bigger crappie. Crappie stage up outside and over the top of creek channel locations near deep water access and nicer winter days bring the crappie up in the water column to feed on shad. I catch a 15 fish daily limit of crappie in this video using crappie jigs and a paddle tail swimbait.
