Hey anglers! With only a couple of hours to fish before a call, I decided to make the most of my time on the Chicago River. I started off hitting the banks with my favorite top water bait, the Whopper Plopper, and enjoyed a great session with aggressive bass hits.
I stayed with top water for most of the day, but as I made my way back to the launch, I switched things up with a wacky rig and chatterbait combo to maximize my chances. This video covers my entire fishing adventure, from the excitement of top water action to the finesse of the wacky rig and chatterbait.
