Henry and I went out in search of the giant bluefin tuna that were biting at the pens all week. We quickly pivoted when the bite was slow and headed further west in search of bluefin tuna and yellowtail while fishing kelp paddys. We were able to find a few fish that wanted to bite our flyline baits, making for an awesome day on the water. After that, we headed back home and caught a few rockfish before calling it a day. We landed a few good red vermillion rockfish to fill the freezer. Another awesome day saltwater deep sea fishing in San Diego California.
