The annual Broadlands Grayling Classic on the River Test has become a steadfast date in my fishing calendar. The last few years I have fished this competition with my pal Ian Pinder. The best part of the being an entrant into this fantastic event is I live relatively close and can take advantage of the open week to fish the world famous River Test.
The fishing is always good and the fishery is kept in superb condition by its keeper Jon Hall. The competition is run by Ben Bangham and Adam Sinclair who must run the friendliest competition in the UK! The catering is taken care of by Dom and he serves up delicious breakfasts and lunches each day.
All in all one of the highlights of my angling year! What do you look forward to in the season? Let me know in the comments section below.
