A last-minute change in plans brought me to a stream closer to home. I only hit this stream a couple times a year, but today was a great day to come back. The fish were hungry and cooperative, all three species (brookie, brownie, rainbow) in all different age classes were represented. Didn't have to try too hard to figure them out, just went with a few different attractor patterns and the fish were willing and able to take a taste, but the San Juan Worm really stole the show! Sometimes it's just easier to keep it simple.
