Brian brings us the forecast for the week ahead and we have some great news for you. Remnants of hurricane Nicole dropped anywhere from 2-4 inches of rain locally and it is looking like we will have more rain Tuesday into late Tuesday night. The last storm purged many of the remaining leaves on our trees and from the eddies in the rivers. Our mountain streams, spring creeks, and larger rivers should look fresh and clean by the end of the week when things clear up a bit leaving us with awesome water conditions for winter fishing. Brook trout and brown trout continue to spawn but they should be wrapping up in a few weeks. DWR should be out stocking in full force this week. We will be looking forward to the North River DH being stocked to add to our favorite local spots to fish. Mossy Creek and Beaver Creek are in great shape right now. Susie Q Farm will open back up for bookings in December if not before. We are taking bookings through 2023 at Susie Q for those looking to reserve prime dates.
