Pop and I saw the rain on the weather forecast and said, "LETS GO FOR IT!"
It sure paid off and we had a blast. Sometimes its fun to go out in less than perfect weather.
I've recently picked up a rod for throwing big swimbaits, and while it doesn't always work, it tends to bring out the big boys. Oddly enough, my hookup rate with these big baits is really good when I get a strike, it usually gets pinned. I hope that good luck holds. I will be really interested in trying this combo out in the winter with some BIG soft swimbaits, and in the spring with the glide baits again.
