Ice fishing can be an extreme sport when the mercury dips into the double digits below zero. The WindRider crew ventured out with pro angler Kyle Williamson and his son Blake onto the frozen landscape of Lake Winnibigosh in northern Minnesota to demonstrate this.

Ice fishing can be an extreme sport when the mercury dips into the double digits below zero. The WindRider crew ventured out with pro angler Kyle Williamson and his son Blake onto the frozen landscape of Lake Winnibigosh in northern Minnesota to demonstrate this.

Perch was the order of the day, especially since the walleyes don't tend to bite until closer to dark. They were joined by Justin Christenson and his son Aaron, which was key to keeping them moving as you will see in the video. Just keeping everything functioning can be a win out here, topped off by the joy of watching the boys pull in fish.

Ice fishing in these conditions isn't for the faint of heart, or for the timid driver. Robert blasted his Ram pickup across the open drifted snow like a bass boat and only got stuck a few times. Lucky for him the cameraman was too busy digging it out to grab the lens. Next time, Robert. -WR
